Processing of personal data under gdpr

Due to the new GDPR that will enter into force on 25 May 2018, we want to inform you about how we will handle your personal data.

Data controller

The data controller is Myaroma under Methafour ind AB, orgnr 556509-2318. The protection of your personal data is important to us. The protection is also regulated by law in the Personal Data Act, which will be replaced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on 25 May 2018. What personal data is collected

Personal data that will be processed includes, date of birth, address, email address and telephone number. You provide the personal data yourself when ordering products, or by registering for our newsletter.

Purpose of the personal data processing

Your personal data will be processed in order for us to fulfil our commitments for ordered products. Processing of your personal data may also take place in order for us to fulfil obligations under laws, regulations and to handle matters and complaints.

In addition to the above stated purposes, you agree that your personal data may be used for our market and customer analyses, unless you have objected in writing to direct marketing, also to use your personal data to provide various offers of products from us. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time, for example by link in newsletters.

Storage of personal data

We store personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the above purposes. Normally, we store your personal data for 3 years from the time your last order was placed or from the time you have been in contact with us otherwise. When you have signed up to receive newsletters and offers from us, we will save your information until further notice. You can easily unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time or by contacting us at the address above and having all your information deleted.

In some cases, we may need to store data for a longer period of time when required by law (e.g. accounting law) or in the case of, for example, complaints.

Who may process the personal data

Your personal data is processed by our staff as well as by our partners for system and administrative services with whom we have agreements for the protection of personal data, personal data processing agreements.

Your rights to data about you

You have the right, at any time, to withdraw your consent to us processing the data you have provided to us.

This means that you can also request the rectification or deletion of your personal data. Such a request is made in writing to us. Your data will then be corrected or deleted within a month's time.

You can also correct and update information there. You can also contact us with the request to access the registered information we have about you, which we will provide within a month.

 Privacy and personal data

When you order goods from us and pay via Klarna invoice, you at the same time accept that your submitted data is forwarded to Klarna and saved by us in order to be used to simplify future orders and for the distribution of your goods. 

To ensure your privacy and security, all information is handled with respect and care, and in accordance with the Gdpr. If you do not wish to receive information or email offers from us, you can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at info@myaroma.se.

 Card payment privacy

All card details are transmitted via a high-grade encrypted connection (SSL). The card details are checked in real time and if the card purchase is approved, the amount is reserved on the Customer's card. The transaction is then executed immediately thereafter. No card details through our server. They are sent directly to our PCI certified payment exchange Stripe, which checks the data. 

3D Secure is a reliable way to securely validate the Customer's card issuer during a card purchase on the Internet. The customer easily activates their card via their online bank. 3D Secure is a collective name where "Verified by VISA" and "MasterCard Secure Code" are specific applications of each card company that are standard. Verified by Visa is Visa's productification of 3D Secure for secure identification of card customers when purchasing the Internet. Banks that have offered this service to their card customers will be able to identify and verify the identity of the card customer securely. Mastercard SecureCode is Mastercard's equivalent of Verified by Visa. Not all Swedish banks are yet to take advantage of 3D Secure.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security protocol for creating an encrypted channel between a Web server and a web browser. Encryption ensures that all information and data that passes between the Web server and the browser remains private and secure to third parties. SSL is an industrial standard used by millions of websites to protect online transactions and other sensitive personal information that website visitors are expected to enter through the browser.


Klarna Personal Data Management

Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable legislation. Klarna processes personal data primarily for the purpose of carrying out identification, customer analysis, credit control, marketing and business development, including transfer to specially selected partners or to a state outside the EU/EEA area. Social security numbers are used as customer numbers for customer management purposes. MyAroma Naturals AB is part of Methafour Ind AB, which is the legal name for the company. These general terms and conditions apply when you as a consumer place an order by www.myaroma.se and associated pages on our site. An agreement is entered into between you and Methafour Ind AB (MyAroma) corporate registration number 556509-2318 (Methafour IND AB).


If you are under the age of 18, you must have parental permission to order with us. All attempted fraud is reported to the police.


Delivery information
The expected delivery time from myaroma.se is between 2 - 4 business days. (For sold-out goods in stock, there can sometimes be a delivery time of up to 2 - 3 weeks.) This is because all products are handmade and the factory can sometimes have delivery time before the goods can be shipped.) Please note that the post office's usally keep the package 14 days from the time the package arrives at your delivery point.

Packages not collected
It is up to the customer to provide a valid and correct delivery address. If MyAroma receives a package that was sent to the wrong address or not picked up, it is the customer who pays new shipping. Delayed delivery
If we are unable to send your order on time (see delivery terms) you will be notified by email. If you do not agree to a new proposed delivery time, you have the right to cancel the purchase free of charge.

Information about the right of withdrawal
According to the Distance and Home Sales Act, you as a consumer (this does not apply to companies) have the right to withdraw from the agreement by notifying us within 14 days of receipt of the goods. In order for you to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return the product in undamaged condition, Undisclosed packaging, in original packaging (see delivery conditions for what applies to skin/hair and hygiene items). When using the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the return cost.


You will receive shipping free of charge on your order if the order value exceeds Euro 100.

Outside Sweden
For customers outside Sweden, shipping is charged on orders less than 100 Euro with 30 Euro, any import VAT and customs fee is up to the recipient to pay.

Personal data
Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable legislation. We also reserve the right in some cases to advertise unless you have indicated that you do not want them.

Warranties on the product are provided by MyAroma Naturals AB/Methafour Ind AB.
We cannot be responsible for any hypersensitivity to ingredients in a product or sample, if you are unsure what the product or sample contains, please contact us before use or order.

We follow the Swedish Consumer Agency's recommendations for e-commerce.
We follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board in the event of a dispute.

Price information is provided subject to printing errors, suppliers' price increases, possibly incorrect technical specifications, etc.m. and for final sales. MyAroma Naturals reserves the right to change all information without prior notice.

Force majeure

Methafour Ind is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. Examples of this are general labour conflict, war, terrorist attack, changed government provision, technical problems, errors in data connections or other communications, and failure or delay in subcontracting services due to circumstances stated here. These circumstances constitute grounds for exemption from damages and other penalties. Should such a situation arise, MyAroma would inform you at the beginning and at the end of the situation. If the situation lasts for more than two months, both you and MyAroma have the right to cancel the purchase with immediate effect.
